We seek dynamic individuals to join our team. Reporting To: Principal or Assistant Principal. Purpose of Role: Our intermediate phase blended learning facilitators drive student achievement by overseeing online learning, project-based activities, and independent work in our 'flex' blended learning model.

They work directly with students in various settings, including whole class, small group, and individual sessions.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Create a positive culture around online and independent learning, maintaining high behavioral expectations.
  2. Coach students on computer programs and ensure effective use of educational software.
  3. Collaborate with teachers to create lesson plans for project-based learning.
  4. Communicate with teachers and administrators to develop individualized learning plans.
  5. Implement SPARK culture and behavior management strategies.
  6. Integrate SPARK's Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum.
  7. Manage educational resources responsibly.
  8. Report hardware damages and incidents promptly.
  9. Optimize timetables to maximize learning time.
  10. Participate in staff development and maintain professionalism at all school events.

Qualifications include:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Police clearance certificate.
  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Part-time study towards a B.Ed. or PGCE in the Intermediate or Senior Phase (3rd or 4th Year), aiming to become a qualified teacher.

Experience:

  • Managing or working with primary school-aged children.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
