Omnia Holdings' BME Operations seeks a Blasting Technician to deliver technical support, training and advisory services on blasting practices. You will apply blast-monitoring techniques, use specialised equipment, and interact with operations and clients to optimise blasting outcomes.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus at least 3 years' surface blasting experience.
• Blasting certificate and blasting ticket are highly preferred.
• Post graduate degree in mining engineering, geotechnology or geology is advantageous.
• Trained in blast monitoring equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance on blasting implementation and training.
• Deliver advanced technical expertise in blast and mine optimisation.
• Communicate effectively with all management levels and clients.
• Prepare and present formal activity reports and monthly updates.
