Are you detail-oriented with a passion for billing accuracy and process efficiency? We’re assisting our client, a cutting-edge global tech company, in recruiting a Billing Specialist to join their growing finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate billing, contract compliance, and seamless project setup across their diverse international portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Review and approve project set-ups, ensuring contracts, work breakdown structures, and resource allocations are in place.
• Prepare and issue accurate and timely invoices for multiple projects.
• Review contract billing and pricing terms, ensuring proper setup in Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Liaise directly with clients to clarify invoicing requirements and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage billing voids, write-offs, and reallocation of misapplied expenses.
• Collaborate with project managers on billing, collections, and project financial health.
• Maintain accurate project files, including invoices, contracts, and subconsultant documentation.
• Assist with lien waivers, subconsultant contract reviews, and insurance certificate processes.
• Ensure data integrity during project close-out and contribute to continuous billing process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• BCom Accounting degree (or related field) with 3 – 5 years’ experience in billing, finance, or related roles.
• Ability to work US hours (14:00 – 23:00).
• Strong proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential).
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Adobe, and bulk invoicing is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking capabilities.
