Faircape Health is seeking a Billing & Collections Administrator to manage a high-volume debtor portfolio within a collaborative finance team. You will ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and strong cash flow while maintaining detailed ledgers and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (advantageous).
• Certificate in Credit Management or Debt Collection (beneficial).
• Proven experience in a billing and/or collections environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and issue accurate monthly invoices across multiple entities.
• Verify billing data, usage reports, and supporting documentation before finalising charges.
• Process and allocate payments, credits, adjustments, and billing corrections.
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain debtor ledgers.
• Manage billing queries and resolve discrepancies promptly to prevent delays.
• Prepare month-end billing summaries for management.
• Manage full collections cycle and a portfolio of 150–250 active accounts.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding accounts via calls, emails, and reminders.
• Build professional client relationships while maintaining a firm collection approach.
• Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements per policy.
• Prepare documentation for legal handover or external collections when necessary.
• Produce debtor age analysis reports and monitor overdue balances.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions and collection activity.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and POPIA.
