An established industry player is seeking a meticulous Tender and Bid Coordinator to oversee the entire bid process. This role involves analyzing RFQs and RFPs, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring timely submissions of high-quality bids. The ideal candidate will excel in stakeholder engagement and possess strong people management skills. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the bid response process, contributing to the success of the organization by driving improvements and ensuring compliance with internal governance. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional results, this opportunity is for you.
The Tender and Bid Coordinator will have an eye for detail, ensuring accurate administration and analysis of client requirements. You will be responsible for introducing and coordinating the bid response process, developing and maintaining a knowledge base of ‘standard’ answers and templates, and identifying ways to improve the quality, consistency, and efficiency of the bid response process. To do this effectively, you will need to liaise with other teams and senior stakeholders to ensure submissions are made on time and to the required quality.
The Tender and Bid Coordinator will compile, prepare, and submit a winning bid, taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. You will be significantly involved pre-RFP, driving the Client Awareness Phase and ensuring all resources are aligned to the client’s requirements well before the Bid Phase begins. After bid submission, you will remain involved through the presentation and negotiation stages, ensuring lessons learned are fed back and implemented.
Responsibilities include implementing all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes. This is a highly networked role that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines. It also requires strong people management and commercial skills.
