A Financial Services corporation that provides wealth management, asset management, and insurance solutions for individuals, families, and businesses, is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer on a Permanent basis in Constantia, Cape Town.

• Applicants should be South African Citizens
• Applicants should already be living in Cape Town, and have the ability to work in Constantia, Southern Suburbs (Cape Town)
• Applicants should be comfortable with an in-office and Hybrid environment (~3 days in office per week)

The successful candidate will work in the IT Solutions Team within an Asset Management company. You will be responsible for analysing, designing and building BI solutions that enable operations and business strategic goals. Your ability to solve complex problems and understand the business in detail will help you thrive in an environment that puts a high value on data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit and analyse business requirements.
• Design, build and maintain BI solutions through the full stack.
• Prepare and combine data from multiple sources to create a single source of truth.
• Relational and dimensional data modelling.
• Analyse and interpret data, build reports to provide business insights and improve business process.
• Mentor junior team members

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed BCOM Degree - preferably relevant - Statistics, Data, Financial, etc.
• 5-8 years' Business Intelligence Development experience
• Experience within the financial services industry (preferable Short-term insurance)
• Experience in either Power BI or Qlik
• Advanced SQL skills
