Position: Python BI Developer / Data Scientist / Data Analyst

Position Details

• Office Based (Monday - Friday) - No remote work
• Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Location: Centurion, Gauteng
• Salary: R 30,000 basic per month
• Benefits: Provident Fund, December Bonus

Responsibilities

1. Developing and maintaining a Business Intelligence System
2. Supporting various projects involving:

• Python
• R (programming language)
• MS SQL
• NoSQL

Designing data warehouses and managing data integration

Applying data analysis and reporting techniques

Drafting and updating technical documentation and SOPs

Applying company ISO policies related to data, reporting, and confidentiality

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Degree in Information Systems
• Experience with BI reporting (Power BI advantageous)
• Knowledge of data warehouse design and Azure cloud services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Analysis Services)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and SQL databases
• Beneficial Skills: Microsoft Power Automate, Forms, Dataverse, ERD reading and creation, analytical and interpersonal skills, problem-solving, IT infrastructure understanding
• Ability to understand data requirements and structure for reporting
• Strong documentation and communication skills
