Job description

Position Overview : As a Business Intelligence Analyst with a specialized focus on SSIS, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust ETL processes to streamline data integration and support our advanced analytics initiatives.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, develop scalable data solutions, and deliver actionable insights that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ETL development.
3. Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support data integration and reporting needs.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure the reliability and performance of data pipelines.
5. Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across different systems.
6. Document ETL processes, data mappings, and data lineage to ensure compliance and facilitate knowledge transfer.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data integration.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in developing ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) in a business intelligence or data warehousing environment.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database management with a solid understanding of relational database concepts.
4. Familiarity with data modeling principles and dimensional modeling techniques.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
6. Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across functional teams.
7. Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
8. Experience with other business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView is a plus.
9. Relevant certifications in SQL Server or business intelligence technologies are desirable.
