The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operations of the branch in terms of taking customer bets, increasing stakes, managing cash, doing payouts, customer services and compliance.

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

Branch Growth

• Ensure betting boards are updated timeously.
• Updating of memos, card changes, results and scratching which occur throughout the day.
• Be knowledgeable on all betting rules, odds and pay-outs.
• Inform the Team Leaders/Betting Manager when laying large bets that do not require confirmation.

Sales Administration

• Manage cash within the branch according to defined processes/procedures and minimize risks, theft/fraud.
• Be alert to emerging attempts to defraud the company.

Cash Management

• Ensure accurate float amounts at the beginning of shifts for proper balancing at the end of the day.
• Perform interim checks with the team leader on duty.
• Address all cash shortages immediately; shortages less than R250.00 must be repaid on the same day.
• Declare all shortages and overs to the team leader on duty and record them correctly.

Branch Appearance

• Ensure the branch is always neat and tidy according to Hollywood standards.
• Maintain workstations in good working condition.
• Comply with procedures to prevent losses and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, helpful, polite, and courteous at all times.
• Proactively address customer complaints and ensure positive feedback.
• Build strong relationships with regular customers.
• Drive a customer-centric culture within the branch.

Compliance

• Adhere to the company's internal control policies.
• Comply with the code of ethics and escalate fraudulent activities.
• Wear the correct Hollywood uniform while on duty.
• Do not take credit bets or utilize the Limited pay-out machine while on duty.
