Placements24 in Benoni is seeking a Local Delivery Driver to join our team. You will operate a delivery vehicle, manage delivery schedules, and provide excellent customer service while representing the company on each route.

The role requires a valid Code 10/C1 license, PDP, and knowledge of the Benoni area; physical loading/unloading is required, with reliable time management and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, preferably Code 10 (C1).
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is required.
• Previous experience in a delivery driver role is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Benoni and surrounding areas.
• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
• Strong time management and customer interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers' premises efficiently and safely.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring they are handled with care.
• Collect payments from customers upon delivery, if applicable.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs.
