Placements24 is seeking a Local Courier and Delivery Person to join our expanding delivery network in Benoni. You will collect and deliver parcels and documents locally, ensuring prompt and professional service within Gauteng.

The role requires strong navigation skills, responsibility, and the ability to work independently to meet delivery targets. Key duties include planning routes, keeping delivery records, and communicating status to customers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Code 8) with a clean record.
• Experience in courier or delivery roles preferred.
• Good knowledge of Benoni and surrounding Gauteng areas.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Good physical condition to handle packages of various sizes and weights.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver packages, mail, and other items to designated recipients.
• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proof of delivery.
• Ensure the safe handling and security of all items being transported.
• Communicate delivery status effectively with customers.
