Job summary

A site manager opportunity in Belgium is offered by a leading construction organisation. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate teams and ensure safety, quality and progress across complex projects.

Requires 5–7 years of experience, strong reading of drawings, and proficiency in AutoCAD/BIM. Relocation to Belgium is essential; English and Afrikaans are preferred languages for communication.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Construction: BTech/MTech or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Construction, Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience as a Site Manager.
• Proven experience managing construction sites and leading site teams.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications; AutoCAD knowledge.
• English and Afrikaans proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and workers.
• Translate master schedules into weekly and daily priorities.
• Plan materials, deliveries and work preparation.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Ensure on-site safety, quality and SHEQ compliance.
• Lead safety briefings and report site risks.
• Organize site meetings and progress reporting.
• Resolve on-site challenges to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate with BIM and other stakeholders.
• Maintain records of labour, materials and progress.
• Validate subcontractor claims and assist cost follow-up.
