Introduction

Concor Construction is looking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced candidate as a Batch Plant Manager. The vacancy is located in Lusikisiki, in the Eastern Cape. The position has stringent requirements, deliverables and deadlines. This position will be on a Limited Duration Contract (“LDC”) basis for the duration of the project.

Experience

• 15 years’ minimum experience as a Batch Plant Manager in the Construction Industry
• Knowledge and Skills of batch plant operations, concrete materials, testing, and logistics to meet the bridge construction (pylon and deck) concrete specifications.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have a working knowledge of the OHS Act and Construction Regulations.
• Must have the Ability to read, understand, and organize construction Plans and Specifications
• Must have knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook)
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must have a valid driver's licence
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and production skills
• Ability to work as part of the team, while exercising own judgment
• Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines
