Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Banquets and Events Manager to lead its Richards Bay events division. You will plan, execute and deliver all banquets, conferences and special events, working with clients to capture their vision and coordinating with culinary, service and AV teams for flawless execution.

You will manage timelines, staffing, budgets and safety standards while driving profitability and client satisfaction in a coastal setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Banquets and Events Management, preferably in hotels or venues.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and client-relations abilities.
• Experience in menu planning, event logistics and vendor coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under pressure.

About the Role

This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of all banquets, conferences, and special events hosted at the venue. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, manage event logistics, coordinate with culinary and service teams, and ensure flawless execution from start to finish.
