Description:


The Banqueting Supervisor oversees all aspects of a conference, banquet, or event, including setup, menu selection, food presentation, serving, and clean-up, with a focus on detail, quality presentation, and customer service. When required, he/she also supervises other F&B operations (Restaurant, Room Service, etc.).


Minimum Requirements:


  • Matric
  • Hotel Management or equivalent qualification
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Email, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a similar role or at least 1 year in a Banqueting Supervisory role
  • Hands-on problem-solving approach and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Experience with hotel management software and point-of-sale software
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Effective communication skills with staff and guests
  • Honest and trustworthy approach
