Qualifications

• Proven experience as Banquet Chef or similar high-volume culinary role.
• Strong knowledge of cuisines and banquet service styles.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in food cost management and inventory control.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute menus for banquets and special events, ensuring variety and quality.
• Supervise and mentor banquet kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Manage inventory, control food costs, and ensure timely ordering of ingredients for events.
• Maintain impeccable standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation within the banquet kitchen.
• Collaborate with the event planning team to meet client requirements and special requests.
• Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation across all banquet services.
