Network Finance seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead the Banking and Financial Operations team in Randburg, South Africa. You will drive day-to-day operations, oversee cash planning, and ensure accuracy in journals, reconciliations, and VAT submissions.

The role demands 5+ years in financial operations/banking, 3+ years of leadership, and strong SAP/ERP proficiency, with a focus on controls, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience within financial operations and/or banking.
• At least 3 years' experience managing and leading a team.
• Experience implementing and improving financial processes.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and ERP platforms, with SAP experience advantageous.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Experience managing audit requirements and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance Banking team and ensure delivery against team objectives.

• Prepare and maintain banking reconciliation dashboards and ageing reports.
• Manage monthly VAT reporting and VAT submissions.
• Coordinate year-end audit deliverables and support audit processes.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance systems, tools, and operational processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members to support individual and team growth.
