Description

To assist in proactively managing a portfolio of affluent clients with a team of Private Bankers through analysis, research, sales, and service fulfillment, with the goal of identifying additional opportunities for banking new clients and growing existing client portfolios through effective stakeholder management.

  • Provide sound services and recommendations based on customer and client needs, current information, and trends.
  • Provide efficient administration through careful and timely planning, reporting, and updating relevant information.
  • Compile reports that track progress and guide business decisions.
  • Manage the leads pipeline effectively.
  • Support sales through analysis of client portfolios and proactive engagement.
  • Assist in profit growth through sales and acquisition of new clients.
  • Achieve financial targets and uphold service levels.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the customer base with creditworthy and profitable customers.
  • Ensure growth by managing existing clients, generating new leads, and increasing active accounts.
  • Use work resources responsibly to contribute to cost containment.
  • Deliver high-quality advice that exceeds customer expectations through proactive and innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to a culture of service excellence, building positive relationships and encouraging feedback.
  • Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships to achieve operational objectives.
  • Comply with statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements, as well as internal processes.
  • Contribute to innovation by finding faster and more accurate ways of working.
  • Understand and promote all financial services solutions within the business offering.
  • Continuously assess personal performance, seek feedback, and pursue training when needed.
  • Develop and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and across the First Rand Group.

You will be an ideal candidate if you :

  • Hold a relevant NQF7 Level Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • Have completed the RE5 qualification.
  • Have 2-3 years’ experience in sales/service within a banking or financial environment.
