Job Summary

Manage and grow a portfolio of high net worth and Family Office clients, trusts, investment holding companies, businesses, and Agri, servicing their banking, lending, and foreign exchange requirements. Provide specialist advice and support in developing tactical strategies and plans. OR provide specialist advice and support in practice formulation and best practice improvements.

Job Description
  • New Business Organization: Devise short-term tactical plans to meet annual targets within 6 to 12 months. Identify, develop, and source new High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth relationships through personal and client referrals, internal networks, and fostering collaboration within the group and WIMI business unit. Achieve personal targets for new and existing clients in Transactional Banking, Credit, FX. Contribute to referring relevant business to other parts of Wealth Advisory and the broader Absa Group.
  • Client Service - Manage and Grow Existing Client Relationships: Conduct quarterly meetings with each client; undertake annual credit reviews; maintain high service levels; coordinate with internal teams to deliver excellent client experience; act as the key contact and coordinator for all client advice and queries.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain high service standards; serve as the primary contact for banking and credit advice; liaise between clients and internal teams.
  • Involvement in Credit Tasks: Gather client information, ensure timely credit reviews, liaise with product teams to complete credit-related tasks.
  • Governance and Control: Ensure compliance with global and local standards, regulatory requirements, KYC, and operating procedures.
  • Query Resolution: Handle client queries and act as escalation point for serious issues.
  • Operational Support: Prepare client documentation, manage day-to-day administration, and follow up on client interactions.

Education

Postgraduate Degree in Business, Commerce, or Management (Required)
