A healthcare service provider is seeking a Food Service Assistant for their staff restaurant in Gauteng, South Africa. Job description

You will be part of an effective team working in our staff restaurant,

You will also be responsible for efficiently assisting in all areas of the food service as directed by your Team Leader and operating within established food hygiene and safety practices

Methods and procedures and within the principles of a flexible team approach.

Working hours are between 6.45am-15.00 Monday to Friday,

This position is for a food service assistant on a bank contract.

Main duties of the job

Duties include the food preparation, food service, hospitality cleaning of premises/equipment and vending around the hospital.

Service areas are the staff restaurant, dish wash section, hospitality, retail and vending.

You will take part of a team preparing breakfast, sandwiches, snacks and drinks.

You will help maintain a clean and hygienic food prep environment in line with the high standards of cleanliness. Completing all relevant paperwork.
