Job Title : Locum Pharmacy Assistant East London

Banding : Band 3

Start date : ASAP

Duration : 3 months

Location : City Road London

Working Hours : Monday to Friday 9 am - 3:30 pm

Rate : £13 per hour

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Locum Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in East London. This role involves working in the dispensary to support the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services. What will your responsibilities be :

  • Assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Managing stock levels and ensuring the smooth operation of the dispensary
  • Working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
  • Labeling and packaging medications
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Providing support to patients with their medication queries
  • Helping with inventory management and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

Qualifications and Experiences :

  • Previous experience working in a pharmacy or dispensary setting
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
