COMPANY DESCRIPTION : Our client is one of South Africa's largest franchise retailers and is looking for a Bakery Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible.

The position is based in Rondebosch, Cape Town.

Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage the daily operations of the bakery, including food preparation, customer service, and inventory management.
2. Train and supervise bakery staff.
3. Food preparation: Ensure food is prepared and presented according to established recipes and standards.
4. Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
5. Inventory management: Maintain accurate inventory records, order supplies as needed, and ensure the bakery section is properly stocked at all times.
6. Predict demand and ensure minimal waste.
7. Customer service: Engage with customers at the service counter to provide excellent service, address customer concerns, and answer any questions.

Educational Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent. Retail-related qualifications will be beneficial.

Experience and Skills Required

• 3 – 5 Years' experience in a similar position.
• Retail experience (Bakery experience will be an added advantage).
