Job summary

Woodafair Academics is seeking a Backroom Associate Worker in Pretoria to support data management activities within clinical research. The role involves liaising with the Data Manager, coordinating CDA tasks, and ensuring timely updates on issues and risks.

Responsibilities include contributing to study setup, preparing DM documents, coordinating with vendors, and mentoring CDA staff to maintain TMF compliance and high data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health or science with clinical research experience.
• Experience at advanced CDA level (CDA ADVANCED level).

Responsibilities

• Provide timely status updates to DM and DMLs as needed.
• Act as contact for Clinical Data Manager; identify risks and mitigations.
• May communicate with vendors to resolve reconciliation issues.
• Provide input to study setup activities including DVR creation.
• Create and/or provide inputs to Data Management documents (eCRF guidelines, etc.).
• Review and provide inputs to Data Management documents (IRP, DMP, etc.).
• Assign work to allocated CDAs and coordinate with Global Data Manager.
• Assist the Data Management Leader in TMF compliance reviews.
• Train and mentor CDA staff; SME forum participation; delegate for Data Manager if needed.

• Act as the Point of contact for Clinical Data Manager, working pro-actively to identify risks and provide mitigations
