FIXR in Cape Town is seeking a backend engineer to build and ship new features on top of our existing platform. You’ll improve core systems, optimize performance, and contribute to architectural decisions while collaborating with Product and Design.
The role requires strong Python/Django experience, REST APIs, and hands-on work with PostgreSQL, Celery, and modern backend tools. Hybrid office-based schedule with cross-country collaboration.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in South Africa as we continue to grow and expand into new areas of ticketing. The role is based in Cape Town, but you will work closely with our teams in other countries.
