Job summary

Opensource is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, develop and operate production-ready applications. You will architect scalable solutions using Node.js in serverless environments and leverage AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Kinesis and S3.

• 5+ years production experience with Node.js in serverless environments.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS Serverless experience including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and SQS/SNS.
• 5+ years automated testing experience (unit and end-to-end).
• Proven experience leading IT teams.
• Strong hands-on AWS cloud expertise.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Serverless tech.
• IaC experience using CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
• CI/CD experience, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

What You'll Be Doing

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' production experience with Node.js in serverless environments.

• Proven experience leading IT teams.
