About the Job:

Peachtree Networks is seeking a motivated and strategic B2B Account Manager to join our Cape Town team. This on-site position plays a vital role in expanding our business within the Telecom and ISP sectors, through strategic account management, international coordination, and business development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and managing existing client accounts across domestic and international markets. Occasional international and domestic travel (up to 10%) is required.

Location: Cape Town, South Africa (on-site)

Experience: 2–4 years in B2B account management

Languages: English is required; French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Russian are preferred

Travel: Up to 20%, domestic and international

Job Responsibilities :

  1. This position requires strategic planning and relationship building to increase the business for Peachtree Networks at key accounts in the Telecoms and ISP business sector.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations. The candidate must show experience with business plan creation, customer account responsibility, and international coordination.
  3. Focus on developing new business for Peachtree Networks by identifying business opportunities and prospects by evaluating their position in the industry, researching, and analyzing sales options.
  4. Negotiate with various executive-level decision-makers and understand company purchasing cycles.
  5. Understand and navigate the decision-making processes of the client and successfully close agreements and big deals to maximize profit.
  6. Manage all corporate-level contacts within target accounts at their key global locations.
  7. Develop a strategic business plan to support the growing existing business.
  8. Identify all ongoing and upcoming projects and coordinate efforts with the functional teams, such as Sales, Sourcing, and Supply Chain, to maximize our chances of maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving business goals.
  9. Develop relationships with key personnel through personal meetings at all important corporate locations.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  1. 2–4 years of experience in B2B account management and selling to executives of large, international corporations
  2. Experience in the IT / Telecommunications / refurbished equipment sector is a plus
  3. Executive-level communication and presentation skills in English; fluency in French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Russian is highly preferred
  4. Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally for up to 20% of the time
  5. Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving growth
  6. Strong knowledge of selling methodologies and account development
  7. Experience working with customers on quotes, proposals, and solutions development
  8. Proficient in CRM software, data analysis tools, and digital communication platforms
  9. Ability to manage workload, priorities, and time efficiently in a fast-paced, professional environment
  10. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders effectively
