About the job

The UK-based marketing agency is seeking a German-speaking Business Development Executive to act as the liaison between clients, prospects, and customers. Your role will involve seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers through various channels, mainly by phone. This position involves sales activities, including cold calling, and requires resilience and persistence. You will be valued, challenged, rewarded, and have fun in this fast-paced environment.

To succeed, you should have experience in developing leads from sales and marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. Your communication skills will be essential to cultivate strong relationships with customers from initial contact to closing the deal or booking an appointment. You should be motivated, results-driven, resilient, and enjoy working in a team. Ultimately, your efforts will boost sales and contribute to the long-term growth of our business and our clients'.

Responsibilities
  1. Qualify leads (primarily businesses) from marketing campaigns/data lists as sales opportunities
  2. Contact potential clients through cold calls, follow-up calls, emails, and LinkedIn
  3. Present varying products and services to potential clients
  4. Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  5. Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  6. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  7. Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and our clients
  8. Report to the Team Leader weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  9. Manage your own time effectively

Requirements
  • Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to accept feedback and implement improvements
Must-haves
  • Proven work experience in sales or account management within a B2B role, such as Business Development Representative or Sales Account Executive
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Grade 12 education
  • Fluent in German and English, with strong spelling and grammar skills
