B2B Account Executive, Wholesale Fibre

A leading international wholesale (b2b) fibre, cloud and communications company is currently expanding commercial operations in South Africa. We are currently seeking an experienced account executive to bring in new logos to the company and manage accounts.

About the job

1. Develops Sales Strategies To Grow Revenue From Existing And New Sales Opportunities.
2. The Role Is Predominantly Focused On Driving Net New Revenue.
3. As The Primary Client Contact, With Strong Expertise In Identifying clients, You Will Work With Clients To Understand And Position the client As Partner To Jointly Solve Problems.
4. Facilitate Ideation And White Boarding Sessions With Clients To Optimize Share Shift Opportunities.
5. Maintains An Agile Market And Competitor Awareness To Identify Opportunities And Maximize Penetration In Markets Held By The Competition And Foster Partnerships With New And Existing Customers.
6. Research The Clients’ Business, Financials And Market To Identify And Capitalise On Net New Revenue Opportunities.
7. Engages In Dialogue With Clients Sharing Newsworthy Insights And Articulate Customer Value Drivers In Light Of Our Value Proposition.
8. Interacts Across All Levels In The Client Organization.
9. Understands Workflow And Value Chain In Order To Build Successful Internal Relationships To Aid Client Delivery.
10. Maintain Knowledge Of Current Industry Trends And Business Needs To Proactively Work With Clients.
11. Understand Competitive Landscape And Offerings To Differentiate The Value Of Solutions.
12. Consistently Shares Newsworthy Insights About The Market, Educating Clients On New Issues And Outcomes.
13. Understands Workflow And Value Chain, Understand Internal Client Delivery Processes In Order To Ensure Client Satisfaction.
14. Work Closely With Product, Analytics, Sales And Other Departments To Influence Product Strategy And Roadmap To Best Support Client Account Initiatives.
15. Maintains All Customer Records In Salesforce CRM Database.
16. Develops and manages a 30 Day Forecast And 60-90-120 Day Pipeline Within CRM.
17. Provides Weekly And Monthly Forecasts To Management.
18. Performs Other Duties As Assigned With Integrity And Honesty.

Requirements

1. Degree or Diploma with proven solution selling experience within the telecommunication sector.
2. 3-5 years of progressive experience in a consultative selling context and business development.
3. Relevant industry experience (b2b wholesale).
4. Proven experience in developing and implementing key account plans.
5. Eagerness to learn complex solutions to enable successful development of sales opportunities.
6. Must be well organized with excellent negotiating skills, combined with superior oral and written communication skills.
7. Work independently and contribute to team culture.
8. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying due dates and requirements.
9. PC literacy – Microsoft – specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
10. Fluid to International Travel.
