Job summary

iLaunch (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Senior Cloud Security lead to steer the security strategy for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid clouds. You will design and implement security controls across Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, and related services, while shaping governance and standards in line with CIS, NIST, and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities include monitoring Secure Score, coordinating incident response with SOC teams, and mentoring cloud security engineers to提升 resilience and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Cyber Security or related field.
• 8–10 years in Cyber Security, Cloud Security, or Infrastructure Security.
• 5+ years securing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security strategy and technical direction for Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Design, implement, and improve security controls across Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Azure and security services.
• Define and maintain cloud security standards, baselines, and governance aligned with CIS, NIST, ISO 27001.
• Monitor and improve Secure Score and cloud security posture through assessments and gap analyses.
• Act as senior escalation point for major Microsoft platform security incidents and coordinate with SOC teams.
