Placements24 is seeking a remote Aviation Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced software for flight simulation, data analysis, and operational systems. You will work with a distributed team, delivering high-quality software from a home office and sharing in complex project challenges.

The role requires strong programming skills (C++, Java, Python or C#), experience with Agile practices, and a passion for aviation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as Software Developer with portfolio, preferably aviation-related.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, Python, or C# with strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy high-performance software for aviation systems.
• Collaborate remotely with engineers, UX designers, and other developers to define requirements and architecture.
• Develop scalable and secure applications using modern programming practices.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and functionality.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
