Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aviation Quality Assurance Manager for a hybrid role in Rustenburg. You will establish, maintain, and improve the QMS across all aviation operations, oversee audits, and drive a culture of continuous improvement in quality and safety.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Engineering, 8+ years in aviation QA, and deep knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and SACAA regulations.

• 8+ years experience in aviation quality assurance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 and aviation regulations (SACAA).
• Experience leading audit programs and CAPA processes.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with aviation regulations.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits of suppliers, service providers, and operational departments.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement CAPA to address non-conformities.
• Ensure compliance with aviation authorities' regulations and standards.
• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team to promote quality and safety.

About the Role

In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in establishing, maintaining, and improving quality management systems across all aviation operations. You will oversee audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of aviation standards and a proven track record in quality management, balancing remote strategic planning with on-site operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with aviation regulations.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits of suppliers, service providers, and operational departments.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation authorities' regulations and standards.
• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a proactive approach to quality and safety.

Requirements
