Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Electrical Systems Engineer in Klerksdorp to join our advanced engineering team. You will design, develop, integrate, and test complex electrical systems for aircraft, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a cross-functional environment.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with proven aerospace experience and strength in CAD/CAE tools, plus excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as Aircraft Electrical Systems Engineer or in similar aerospace roles.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace electrical standards, systems and components.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools for electrical design and analysis.
• Excellent technical communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical system architectures, including power distribution, wiring harnesses, and control systems.
• Perform detailed analysis and simulations of electrical systems to predict performance and identify potential issues.
• Integrate electrical systems into aircraft platforms, ensuring compatibility and compliance with specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans for electrical systems, documenting results and addressing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and maintenance teams to support production and field service activities.
