Job summary

Impact HR is seeking a Solutions Architect to design, develop, and deliver scalable AVEVA-based solutions that align with business goals in a digital transformation context. You will lead architecture blueprints, implement secure integration, and guide deployment across IT/OT environments.

You will engage with executives and technical teams, shape solution roadmaps, and support pre-sales activities with demonstrations and PoCs. The role is permanent and based in Midrand, Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• BSc/BTech in Engineering or Computer Science with proven track record.
• Deep AVEVA portfolio knowledge including PI System, System Platform, E3D, MES, Insight, Predictive Analytics, and CONNECT.
• Experience with IT/OT integration and cloud computing.
• Industrial automation, SCADA, IIoT environments.
• Programming/scripting skills (Python, C#, JavaScript).
• Ability to communicate with C-level executives and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure industrial solutions and architectures.
• Develop technical blueprints and architecture diagrams.
• Define integration strategies and roadmaps for digital transformation.
• Guide deployment and oversee IT/OT integration across environments.
• Support pre-sales with technical demonstrations and PoCs.
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering and customer success teams.
