Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Software Tester to join a fully remote QA team. You will ensure reliability, functionality, and performance of complex automotive software, including infotainment, embedded units, and connectivity systems.

Required are a CS/Engineering degree (or equivalent) and proven testing experience in automotive contexts; familiarity with CAN/LIN and scripting for test automation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in software testing, preferably automotive.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN/LIN) and embedded systems is a strong asset.
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous defect reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for automotive software.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of embedded automotive systems.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Collaborate with software developers and engineers in a remote team to resolve issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
