TRIZ Engineering Solutions is seeking an experienced draughtsman to perform Automotive Service Documentation and CAD Technician tasks.

TRIZ Engineering Solutions is a premium product engineering company specializing in end-to-end commercial vehicle development, including electric, hybrid, and conventional powertrains, as well as advanced vehicle technologies like ADAS, autonomy, and telematics.

Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12/NQF Level 5) recognized internationally or in South Africa
- Industry-recognized technical qualification (minimum 2 years)
- 2-5 years of full-time experience in 3D and 2D CAD using software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Siemens NX, Creo, Inventor
- Experience in automotive component design and integration; knowledge of Siemens NX is advantageous
Relevant experience should include:
- Manufacturing processes such as welding, sheet metal work, pipe bending, harness manufacturing
Responsibilities:
- Service Documentation: Use Siemens NX and Teamcenter to create and maintain documentation for truck chassis systems, assign VMRS codes, publish to customer database, communicate with clients, plan tasks, and interface with design engineering.
- CAD Drafting: Design and integrate mechanical/electromechanical equipment, create 3D models of sheet metal components, piping, hoses, and produce detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with tolerances, welding symbols, GD&T, and assemble complex CAD models.
- CAD Quality Control: Operate Siemens NX and Teamcenter, adhere to standards, review CAD models, provide feedback, and contribute to process improvements. Train new employees on engineering standards.
- General Administration: Assist with planning, tracking, reporting, and administrative tasks, supporting foreign team members, and maintaining organizational standards.
Working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime. Leave is statutory.
