MA Automotive Tool and Die (PTY) Ltd in Gauteng seeks an experienced Quality Department Manager to develop, implement and maintain quality systems across automotive operations. You will ensure adherence to job descriptions and quality procedures, lead a team, and drive corrective actions to meet BMW/IATF standards.

The role emphasizes audits, training, budget oversight, and continuous improvement within a high‑performance manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in quality management or equivalent.
• Extensive experience implementing ISO and BMW/IATF standards.
• Strong Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record managing a quality department in automotive.
• Experience with press tools or assembly lines is preferred.
• Proficient in SAP R/3, Power BI and MS Office tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage the performance of subordinates.
• Maintain quality systems per ISO and OEM requirements.
• Meet customer requirements and improve product quality.
• Lead continuous improvement with corrective actions.
• Establish and manage the Quality Department budget.
• Handle customer requests and complaints.
• Oversee quality performance indicators.
• Train and mentor staff.
• Continuously improve the QMS to align with customer expectations.
