Your role will focus on helping customers find the right parts to keep their vehicles & trucks running smoothly. You will be responsible for driving sales, by attracting clients, providing excellent customer service and maintaining high levels of sales on an ongoing basis.
Remuneration
R 10000 – R 15000 (depending on experience) per month plus performance-based Incentive – Benefits including Provident Fund and Medical Aid.
Duties :
- Accurately sell parts – Commercial (Trucks) and Passenger - to address defects and meet customer needs on the first attempt.
- Ensure initial quotations are precise.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle replacement parts
- Carefully listen to customer descriptions to clearly understand the part or component location.
- Handle telephonic queries for the Sales Department as needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal growth and a willingness to learn more about the products.
- Help maintain a clean and organized parts department.
- Record all parts used on the job card.
- Follow established procedures for processing cash, credit, and cheque transactions, as well as handling warranties and returns at the parts counter.
- Monitor and report shortages to the Parts Manager to expedite resolution.
- Verify that the correct items are picked and delivered on the first attempt.
- Accurately handle and record all consumables.
- Contribute to departmental and dealership marketing plans as needed.
- Implement company policies to protect stores from fire, damage, or theft.
- Adhere to discount policies and ensure compliance.
- Verify full valuation for items returned for credit.

Requirements :- Matric
- A minimum of 2 years’ part sales experience is essential
- Strong Parts retail experience – Commercial (Trucks) and Passenger
- Clear Criminal Record
- A Valid Driver’s License
- PC Literate – Evolve, Drive, Autoline, Excel and Word
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills, Confident and proactive
- Ability to operate under pressure and in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Stable work history
