The role requires a master's in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years in IE with 5+ in management, and strong leadership and analytical skills. International travel possible, competitive package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in industrial engineering with at least 5 in a management or supervisory role within automotive sector.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing, supply chain dynamics, and quality systems.
• Proven Lean and Six Sigma initiatives with measurable results.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the industrial engineering department; set objectives, manage performance and develop staff.
• Develop strategic plans for process improvement, efficiency, and cost reduction across lines.
• Oversee design and optimization of manufacturing systems, workflows and plant layouts.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and safety/environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with senior management, R&D, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Manage budgets for the industrial engineering department and projects.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies and automation in manufacturing.
