Dura Equipment Sales is looking for a qualified and experienced Auto Electrician to join our dynamic workshop team. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on heavy earthmoving machinery such as loaders, excavators, graders, and dump trucks, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on earthmoving machinery and equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting, alternators, starters, and control systems.
• Perform diagnostics using modern electrical testing equipment and diagnostic software.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections on electrical systems.
• Ensure all repairs and installations meet manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
• Assist in field service repairs when required.
• Complete job cards and maintain accurate service records.

Requirements

• Qualified Auto Electrician Trade Certificate (Red Seal) essential.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience working with heavy earthmoving machinery (e.g., CAT, Komatsu, Bell, Volvo, or Lovol).
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with CAN-bus systems and onboard computer diagnostics advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Physically fit and willing to work in both workshop and field environments.
• Excellent safety awareness and attention to detail.
