Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical and electronic issues in a wide range of vehicles.
• Specialize in areas such as infotainment systems, navigation, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), battery management, and vehicle networking (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, oscilloscopes, and multimeters to pinpoint faults accurately.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, technical service bulletins, and diagnostic flowcharts.
• Perform software updates and re-flashing of vehicle control modules.
• Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure comprehensive vehicle repair.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the service department on electrical system matters.
• Stay abreast of evolving automotive electrical technologies and trends through continuous learning and training.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Automotive Electrical Specialist or in a similar, highly technical role.
• Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostic tools, including advanced scope usage and programming tools.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle communication networks (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex wiring schematics.
• Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) electrical systems is a significant plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A relevant technical qualification or certification in automotive electronics or electrical systems.
