Placements24 is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Specialist for a Centurion workshop. The role focuses on troubleshooting complex vehicle issues using OEM diagnostics, advanced tools, and data interpretation.

The successful candidate will perform in-depth diagnostics across engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and climate control, while collaborating with service staff to deliver precise repair guidance in a hybrid on-site/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as an Automotive Diagnostic Specialist or similar role.
• Strong expertise in diagnosing issues across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
• Proficiency with OEM-specific diagnostic tools and universal scan tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certifications in diagnostics) are strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
