• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, and 4+ years in automotive body structures.
• Proficient with FEA software for crash, static, and dynamic analyses.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive body structures focusing on safety, stiffness, and weight.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis to predict structural behavior under load conditions.
• Interpret FEA results and iterate designs with design teams.
• Specify materials and manufacturing processes for body components.
• Develop and execute validation plans including physical testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure production feasibility.
• Work with safety engineers to meet regulatory standards.
• Maintain thorough documentation of designs, analyses, and test results.
