Automotive Applications Engineer Job Duties and Responsibilities

Develop applications that effectively accomplish client objectives and user needs

Adapt applications as needed to optimise performance

Identify specific customer and client needs and preferences related to Liqui Moly

Test work where needed

Act as a technical advisor to clientele

Liaise with the sales department to identify technical requirements and develop solutions

Quote for projects including estimated time and costs

Act as a resident technological expert advisor for our products

Connect with customers to analyze user experience and gain constructive feedback

Customize specialized applications according to client needs

Contribute to sales training showcasing all technical features and processes

Maintain positive client relationships

Experience :

Applications Engineer Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

2+ years' experience as an automotive applications engineer

Sales and marketing experience a plus

Ability to handle client and customer issues tactfully and professionally

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Adept and effective communicator

Creative, analytical, and driven

Thrives in a fast-paced work environment

Enjoys complex problem-solving and collaboration
