Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support on digital farming (DF) and automation products, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Develop AutoCAD drawings and assist in system design
Assemble and test automation units (irrigation dosing, controllers, radio units, etc.)
Wire and configure cabinets and electrical panels
Offer telephonic and on-site support to clients and dealers across South Africa and SADC
Train end users and dealers on the use and maintenance of automation equipment
Assist with filter banks and related product servicing as needed
Report directly to the Technical Manager, with additional support provided to the Product Manager
Minimum Requirements:
BTech or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Mechatronics
3-5 years of relevant technical experience
Proficient in AutoCAD, and ideally familiar with Inventor software
Knowledge of VSD/PLC systems, ELV electrical systems, computer hardware, and hydraulic/flow dynamics
Qualified electrician status is strongly preferred
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and training capabilities
Valid drivers license and passport role includes frequent travel
