Wabtec Company - DotNetix (Pty) Ltd is seeking a System and Automation Test Engineer to lead system integration testing and automated test development. The role emphasizes building scalable automation frameworks and hands-on Python coding to test cloud, firmware, hardware and software components.

You will work within an Agile Scrum team, drive testing best practices, and collaborate with RF, digital design, and software teams.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in information systems, IT, CS or computer/electronic engineering; non-graduates considered with proven testing track record.
Proven experience with system testing and automation development, including hands-on coding.
Experience with multiple high-level programming languages and embedded platforms/processors.
Strong experience as a system/integration tester and automation developer.
Experience developing automation using Python.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Squish or similar.
Experience building automation frameworks and reusable test libraries.
Understanding of RF, digital electronics and electronics engineering.
Knowledge of networking protocols and related test equipment.
Experience in Agile Scrum; Linux and Android experience.

Responsabilidades

Collaborate within an Agile Scrum team to drive testing and automation strategy.
Develop and maintain system-level and automated test solutions; design and execute tests.
Extend and maintain automation frameworks and libraries; contribute Python coding.
Identify priority issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive resolutions.
Create and maintain automated tests within the existing framework; improve testing practices.
