Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate business processes to determine RPA potential and provide effort estimations for automation opportunities within Controllership and the wider Finance team.
- Define and plan development approaches for both large-scale projects and smaller initiatives, aligning with the broader RPA roadmap.
- Create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDDs), including detailed process flows and technical specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design and develop automated solutions using Blue Prism, ensuring adherence to best practices and standard design principles.
- Apply agile methodologies to maximise business value and continuously improve solution delivery.
- Identify and communicate project risks or issues to the RPA Lead as needed.
- Drive RPA solutions through development, testing, change management, and deployment cycles.
- Ensure automation quality through robust QA processes.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the RPA framework for scalable and repeatable automation delivery.
- Lead root cause analysis for RPA incidents and exceptions, providing detailed investigation and strategic resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive technical and procedural documentation to support knowledge sharing and system sustainability.
Qualifications Required
- B.Com or B.Tech degree in Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in Financial Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, or a related finance environment.
- Hands-on experience developing and implementing Blue Prism automation (accredited Blue Prism Developer preferred, or equivalent experience).
- Experience in global or multinational finance teams is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IFRS and public/foreign-listed company reporting environments is beneficial.
- Exposure to Power BI, Alteryx, or similar data tools is highly desirable.
Skills And Competences
- Strong understanding of finance functions, including FP&A, Commercial, and Supply Chain processes.
- Proficient in Advanced Excel (Power Query, VBA, Pivot Tables, Linked Workbooks).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid grasp of multi-currency environments and finance systems.
- Tech-savvy, self-motivated, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong team player with an eagerness to learn, share knowledge, and drive innovation.
