Placements24 seeks an Automation Mechanical Engineer to join our Mahikeng facility. You will design, develop, and implement automated mechanical systems, including robotic work cells and conveyors, to improve production efficiency, precision, and safety.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, 5+ years in automation/robotics, CAD proficiency, PLC familiarity, and strong hands-on problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering or robotics.
• Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design and familiarity with PLC concepts.
• Strong understanding of mechatronics, kinematics, and dynamics.
• Experience with industrial robots (e.g., KUKA, ABB, Fanuc) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities
