Automation Installation Technician

Permanent Position | Junior - Mid Level
Salary: R15 000 – R25 000 CTC (experience-dependent)
Probation Period: 3 months

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Applicable trade certificate (Electrical, Millwright or Mechatronic).

1. Building, installing, and commissioning automation systems
2. Panel building, electrical wiring, and working with mechanical components
3. Reading and modifying electrical schematics
4. Troubleshooting PLCs, robotic systems, and automation components
5. Performing metal fabrication, grinding, and welding when needed
6. Collaborating with teams to meet project deadlines
7. Local and international travel for installations and support

1. Relevant trade certificate (Electrical, Millwright, Mechatronics)
2. Hands-on experience with automation installations and panel building
3. Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
4. Experience with PLC programming and robotics (advantageous)
5. Willingness to travel locally and internationally (up to 3 months)
6. Valid driver’s license
7. A positive attitude, solid work ethic, and eagerness to learn
