About the Role

We are seeking a freelance n8n expert to join our team in building powerful automation tools and AI-integrated workflows. This is a flexible, remote opportunity ideal for a self-driven developer with strong JavaScript and automation platform experience. The majority of work will be in n8n, so hands-on expertise is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and build robust, end-to-end workflows in n8n (or similar platforms like Zapier/Make).
● Automate internal link building on WordPress (e.g., fetch all posts, process content, insert links, and upload back).
● Create tagging systems, AI-assisted SEO flows, and automation pipelines for content generation and optimisation.
● Execute web scraping jobs via APIs and manage structured data uploads to SQL/WordPress.
● Integrate prompts for AI tools into workflows (AI logic provided).
● Ensure workflows are tested, bug-free, and ready for production.

Requirements:
● 3+ years full-time experience with n8n, Make, or Zapier (n8n strongly preferred).
● 2+ years JavaScript coding experience (manipulating arrays, text, and dynamic content).
● Solid experience with SQL databases and data flows.
● Ability to work independently, with attention to QA and workflow accuracy.
● Must be able to issue invoices (via Upwork or directly).

Nice to Have:
● Hands-on experience with WordPress (especially programmatic content updates).
● Experience with web scraping and API integrations.
● Familiarity with RAG, MCP, or building Gen AI agents.
● Full-stack development exposure.
● Strong English communication skills – ability to understand briefs and explain solutions clearly.
