Sales Manager

We are looking to hire a seasoned Sales Manager to head up our auto products sales department in Germiston.

MUST have:

  • More than 10 years experience as a sales manager
  • Experience leading and managing a large sales team
Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the management of organizational sales by analyzing trends, developing business plans, and meeting planned turnover targets.
  2. Oversee the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating ongoing training of your salespeople.
  3. Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  4. Meet planned sales goals.
  5. Set individual sales targets with the sales team.
  6. Track sales goals and report results as necessary.
  7. Develop your sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education.
  8. Promote the organization and products.
  9. Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
  • Suitable Diploma / Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field
  • 10+ Years of Sales Management Experience with a high turnover (R50 million plus per month)
  • 10+ Years of Team Management Experience
  • 10+ Years of Customer Relationship Management
  • 10+ Years in planning & implementing sales strategies
  • SAP Experience or any ERP system
  • Must demonstrate analytical ability in various sales metrics, e.g., performance, competitors, product performance, sales funnel, etc.
Package & Remuneration
  • Salary: R50K - R80K per month (based on experience)
  • Benefits: R towards medical aid, 13th cheque, Provident fund
